"Christ has no body now, but yours. No hands, no feet on earth, but yours. Yours are the eyes through which Christ looks compassion into the world. Yours are the feet with which Christ walks to do good. Yours are the hands with which Christ blesses the world."

 St. Teresa of Avila

Working together as the Body of Christ, we can each use the talents we've been given to make the church whole. Join us as we strive to meet the needs of all of His children! Below are just a few of the many ways you can get involved. Pray about where and how you are being called to help. If you don't see it here, give us a call, maybe you can start it!

Liturgical Ministries

"Liturgy is the participation of the People of God in the work of God." (Built of Living Stones, Art, Architecture and Worship, # 19) All of us share in helping to make each Mass a great experience for our parishioners and visitors. Consider helping as a:

  • Lector
  • Server
  • Usher
  • Eucharistic Minister
  • Children’s Liturgy of the Word Minister
  • Sacristan
  • Liturgical Environment Committee Member

Faith Formation/Youth Ministry

Our spiritual and educational programs depend on our dedicated, energetic, giving volunteers. You don't need to know it all, just be willing to pray and share your self and in doing so you will share Jesus. Consider helping in one of our very fun and rewarding ministries:

  • K-5th Grade Catechists (Sunday Mornings)
  • Children Liturgy of the Word (Sunday Mornings)
  • 6-12 Grade Catechists (Wednesday Nights)
  • Classroom helper (Sunday or Wednesday)
  • First Reconciliation/First Eucharist Team Member
  • Babysitter - Sunday Morning Events
  • Babysitter - Parish events
  • Youth Ministers
  • Adult Study Group Leaders
  • Adult Faith Formation Committee Members
  • RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults) Leaders

Music Ministry

Music is a way that many connect to God in a special way. Share your musical talent during Mass, Wednesday Night Youth Praise & Worship, or at other events not to perform or impress but to bring people closer to God through worship. Consider:

  • Choir - Practices Wednesday nights, contact director Karen Lingen for more info.
  • Praise Band - Contemporary band, practices Monday nights, contact Carrie Hiniker for more info.
  • Organist/Pianist
  • Cantor
  • Guitar
  • Drums & other instruments
  • Childrens Music Helper

Promotions and Office Work

  • Bulletin
  • Take photos at events
  • Office Helpers - come monthly or weekly to help with various office duties like mailings, answering phones, shredding paper, etc.

Leadership

Maybe your talent is in planning and coordination! See our Leadership page to check out the various committees that make the Tri-Parish function!

Church Community Life

See if you are called to serve through one of our many wonderful organizations. A great opportunity to meet new people and join an already strong ministry team!
